Ready for a little messy personalization? Welcome to screenprinting, where your drawings, favorite sayings, or favorite sports teams or singers can all be transformed into fun posters and t-shirt designs!
In this class, children will be guided through each step of the screenprinting process: drawing, scanning, graphic editing and printing, then moving into exposing their screen to UV light, prepping their screen for ink, then inking their final design onto poster paper, t-shirts, or anything else they want. As part of the process, kids will learn how to layer colors to achieve a multi-colored ink finished product.
The studio will provide students with poster paper or t-shirts, but kids are also welcome to bring in anything else they’d like to be screenprinted with their design. Children will be able to make as many designs and posters as they’d like, including swapping designs with other students (with the other student’s permission.)
This class will run for 6 weeks. Children will meet at Wilder Arts Studio between 3-3:30pm. We will provide a walking school bus from UES.
Thursdays 3pm-5pm | March 19, 2026 - April 30, 2026 (No class on April 23rd.)
