Grades 2-5
Have you ever wished Harry Potter’s Quidditch Cup could come to life? Well, this is your chance! Muggles’ Quidditch, now internationally known as Quadball, was invented at Middlebury College in 2005 and has taken on a life of its own!
In this class, makers will be split into 2 teams that will compete for the ultimate Montpelier Quadball Cup. Teams will be tasked with designing their team logos and uniforms, and making custom brooms, hoops, quaffles, bludgers, and of course the snitch — everything necessary to pull off a real Quadball tournament. Teams can determine whether they want their teams to be Harry Potter themed, or can go rogue and come up with a completely new team concept. Maybe they want to be Mario and Luigi with plungers instead of brooms, we don’t know!
We will follow the rules of the International Quadball Association as closely as possible, and may include tweaks if both teams desire them.
The studio will donate all proceeds from this class to the Trevor Project, Trans Lifeline, and Transgender Law Center; they are all nonprofits that provide suicide prevention support to transgender youth and are fighting to end discrimination.
This class runs for 11 weeks. Children can be dropped off at Wilder Arts Studio between 3-3:30pm. We will provide a walking school bus from Union Elementary School.
Fridays 3pm to 5pm | March 27, 2026 to June 19, 2026 (No class on April 24th.)
