What are you doing on a Saturday night in the middle of winter? Obviously, hanging out with friends and felting cute little succulents.
Needle felter, fiber artist, and VCFA grad Grace Safford will be in the studio to guide everyone on making a collection of cactii and succulents to cozy up your room.
In this class, Grace will show you the basics of needle felting, how to use your tools, and how to sculpt using wool. Use your new skills to make a succulent, a cactus, or maybe even both! The best thing about felting plants is that once you’re done, you’ll never even need to water it.
Felting wool, needles, and clay pots will be provided. Just bring yourself and your dreams of spring!
