A short and sweet intro class for the most enticing tool in our studio: the laser cutter! In this class, children will be designing and making personalized signs to decorate their rooms or hallways.
Local toy designer and fabricator Ben Bearsch is back in the studio to lead this 4-week class. Our focus will be learning how to use digital design software to create custom designs using a combination of laser cutting and laser engraving, and then using a laser cutter in the woodshop to bring their designs to life. From there, children will have full access to our supply wall, paint studio, and fabric to decorate, paint, stain, and polyurethane their signs to achieve their vision.
This class will run for 4 weeks. Drop off is between 3-3:30pm.
