Craft Night in Montpelier is a chance to come hang out with friends, sip on cozy beverages, and work on simple, pretty crafts together! When you invite friends, you all get $5 off :)
In March, we’re exploring the world of blackout poetry. Using donated books that would have otherwise been sent to the landfill, we are repurposing writers’ words into our own poetry. Local writer and artist Grace Safford will guide as we look for hidden poetry in the pages of books. You are welcome to create as many pieces as you like.
From there, you can choose to create drawings and deeper meanings on the pages of books. We will have a variety of permanent and paint markers on hand for you to dig in and explore this new form of art.
Everyone will go home with their own framed print, to display or treasure.
This event is BYOB. We’ll have a selection of teas and coffee; folks should feel free to bring in their own spirited drinks to sip and share.
