For (incoming) grades 3-7
In this week-long camp, our young engineers will split into multiple teams as they design and build their own child-sized seaworthy bottle boats. Will their designs be literal and look like a Huck Finn-style raft? Or will they design an extravagant pirate ship? It’s anyone’s guess!
Local toy designer Ben Bearsch will lead this team building project. Teams will also have the opportunity to design their team logos and screenprint their logos onto t-shirts. After a week long’s effort, the teams will get the chance to jump on their boats and race them down the North Branch River!
July 27-31, 2026 | 9am to 3pm
All teams will compete in the North Branch Bottle Boat Regatta on August 1st. Exact location in Montpelier is subject to change based on river conditions.
