The Pottery Camp Studio: Handbuilding, Embossing, and Sculpting

$235.00

For (incoming) grades 3-7

In this half-day pottery camp, Montpelier ceramicist Alexi High will teach children the art and craft of ceramics, from how to handbuild bowls, cups, or mugs to special techniques using embossing, stamping and etching, and more. Finally, they will have the chance to use specialty glazes to truly make their pieces into one of a kind keepsakes.

Children will be able to make as many pieces as they’d like as time permits, and have the flexibility to either follow Alexi’s guidance or create their own designs. No matter which designs they choose, it will be sure to be a one-of-a-kind! Finished pottery can either be picked up in the studio after the camp, or delivered to your doorstep in Montpelier.
