This is your one-stop class for everything you need for your next camp out or slumber party!
In this workshop, children will design and make whatever necessities they need for a sleepover — you name it, and we’ll help you make it. A shark’s mouth sleeping bag complete with gills and hidden pouches for toothbrushes? With a matching flying unicorn pillow with diamond wings? Or maybe you need a super secret glowing lantern for late-night reading and ghost stories? We hear you. Bring your imagination and let’s make it all come to life!
As always, our materials will be sustainably sourced and ecologically friendly. We’ll work with students to understand the environmental importance of reusing, recycling, and using resources responsibly.
This class will run for seven weeks. We will provide a walking school bus from Union Elementary School to Wilder Arts Studio.
(As always, all COVID protocols will be followed, including open windows and several air purifiers spread throughout the studio. All Wilder Arts staff are vaccinated. Everyone will be required to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status. Weather and conditions permitting, we will also utilize our outdoor tent for snacks and work.)
