Halloween Heroes: A Design and Sewing Class

For the kid that has PLANS when it comes to Halloween, or just the kid who likes to create wild costumes out of boxes and cloth….and maybe glowing lights? The entire Wilder Arts’ makerspace studio will be available for kids to design, build, and sew their most outlandish creations.
In this workshop, we will learn hand and machine sewing as well as pattern making and design development, as well as working in other mediums including clay, circuitry, and construction as needed. We will also learn about sustainability and use our creativity to primarily use upcycled fabrics and other found materials.
This class will run for 8 weeks. We will provide a walking school bus from Union Elementary School to Wilder Arts Studio.
Thursdays 3pm to 5pm | September 2, 2021 to October 21, 2021
